We are proud to be a family run business that was started by Steve Mawby,
a few years ago!
Steve has a great number of skills under his belt over the years, such as Gas engineer, plumber, skilled builder and ended up specializing in stove/log burning engineering, along side chimney sweeping.
Son in law, daughter and Children, are proud to be carrying on the business name, that Steve has built up.
Just like Steve, Darion is a multi skilled builder, tiler, bathroom installer and roofer. He too has been doing this for a number of years.
After working with Steve he decided on a career change into being a Hetas engineer, and a chimney sweeper.
When it comes to installing or repairing your woodburner/stove, we understand you want someone you can trust. At our family run business we have the experience and expertise to ensure your new or existing woodburner/stove is in safe hands.

Once an appointment has been made you will be given a date and time for our visit. We will give you a 1 hour slot and will at all times try our best to get to you between those times. If for any reason you cannot keep to your appointment please inform us by phone or email at least 48 hours before your allocated time.
If we arrive for the appointment and are not able to gain entry to the property, for whatever reason, we will have to make a charge for the Sweep's time and travelling expenses.
Why we suggest Chimney sweeping yearly.
SAFETY.
Apart for being the most sensible thing to do yearly or more, when used alot.
The biggest danger is a chimney fire or worst if blockages happen then it could be more worrisome.
When you have your chimney swept it will allow the combustion gasses to escape, the stove or open firer to work more efficiently, saving you money.
Remove any soot ,birds nest, cobwebs, blockages, or creosote, which is highly flammable tar like material.

Please Note:
Whilst every effort is taken, a chimney stack, pot and cowl should be sound enough to withstand a chimney sweeping process. If for any reason a pot or cowl breaks or becomes dislodged during the sweeping process, we cannot take responsibility., We will wherever possible eliminate this risk. However, in the unlikely event of mishap arising we will endeavor to carry, replace and repair to the best of our ability at a reduced charge to the homeowner, any remedial work necessary.
